Your first appointment includes a review of your health history, a careful visual observation of your feet, and any routine foot care services appropriate for your visit. This is the foundation of an ongoing care relationship — I take the time to understand your needs, answer your questions, and establish a plan for keeping your feet healthy. If anything observed warrants follow-up with your physician or podiatrist, I will let you know.

Regular foot maintenance is one of the simplest ways to protect your comfort and mobility. For established clients, routine visits include nail trimming and filing, skin observation, and general foot maintenance using sterile, clinical-grade instruments. Thickened toenail reduction and non-invasive callus care are included when appropriate during your scheduled appointment.

Patients with diabetes benefit from consistent, professional foot care. Each diabetic foot care visit includes routine nail and skin maintenance along with careful visual observation of the feet. Because reduced sensation is common with diabetes, I take extra care to note any changes in skin condition, nail health, or general foot appearance. If anything observed suggests a need for follow-up with your physician or podiatrist, I will communicate that clearly.

Thickened toenails are common with age and can be uncomfortable or difficult to manage safely at home. Using professional instruments and careful technique, I reduce thickened nails to a more comfortable length and shape. This service is included when appropriate during a Routine Foot Care or Diabetic Foot Care appointment.

Calluses develop as the body's response to repeated pressure or friction. When left unmanaged, they can become uncomfortable and, for patients with diabetes or sensitive skin, a source of concern. I carefully reduce calluses using non-invasive professional technique, relieving discomfort while protecting the surrounding skin. This service is included when appropriate during a Routine Foot Care or Diabetic Foot Care appointment.

Foot Health Education is included with every appointment. I take time to share practical, personalized guidance on caring for your feet at home — including footwear recommendations, daily inspection habits, moisturizing routines, and when to contact your physician or podiatrist. Good foot health between visits is just as important as the care provided during them.

Mobile Foot Care Visits describes how all Comfort Sole services are delivered — directly to you. Whether you are at home, in an assisted living community, a memory care facility, or an adult day program, I come to you. There are no transportation barriers, no waiting rooms, and no need to arrange a clinic visit. All services listed above are available as mobile visits throughout North and Northeast Columbus, including Gahanna, Westerville, New Albany, and Johnstown.
